Quechee Gorge is one of the outstanding natural spectacles of Vermont. The Ottauquechee River flows at the bottom of the jagged gorge which has been cut from sheer rock in the curse which has been cut from sheer rock in the course of the ages. The highway bridge crosses the gorge 165 feet above the river.
